At Read With Me MN, our mission is to promote and celebrate diversity in children’s literature by amplifying the voices of local authors and illustrators. We work to close the literacy achievement gap by ensuring all children have access to literature that reflects their identities.

At Read With Me MN, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to see themselves and the people they love represented through the pages of a book, and we are committed to making that vision a reality.

  • Read With Me MN partners with local businesses, organizations, and authors/illustrators to support, curate, and impact literacy events in and around the twin cities.

  • Read With Me MN donates culturally relevant texts to teachers through teacher book sets, children and families through community events, and partnerships with local independent bookstores and libraries.
